About Me

I’m Lee Uzziah - an educational counselor, writer, and creative practitioner specializing in the emotional experience of aliyah and major life transitions. My work blends counseling, photography, writing, and expressive arts to help families slow down, understand what they’re feeling, and find their next steps with clarity.

I’ve spent years working in the Israeli education system with gifted, sensitive, neurodiverse, and newly-immigrated teens. I also work with parents who want to support their children but aren’t always sure how to bridge cultural gaps, school expectations, or the feeling of “my kid is lost somewhere between here and there.”

And yes, I’ve lived this story myself. I made aliyah as a teenager. That experience shaped everything I do.

My Approach

I believe aliyah is more than logistics. It’s identity, belonging, family dynamics, emotion, hope, grief, and courage — all happening at once.

My work is built on:

  • Counseling expertise grounded in emotional regulation, resilience-building, and parent–child communication

  • Creative tools like phototherapy, bibliotherapy, guided journaling, and visual storyboarding

  • Practical clarity that helps families make decisions, prepare their children, and feel anchored during transition

  • Jewish meaning without pressure, warm, inclusive, and rooted in personal connection

Why I Created Israel Dream Lab

I wanted families to have something I never had:

A gentle, beautiful way to talk about aliyah, imagine the future, and process the emotional layers without overwhelm.

That’s how the Aliyah Vision Board Kits and guided sessions were born, practical counseling tools disguised as creative experiences.

The Aliyah Vision Board Kits are designed to help you:

  • explore your story visually

  • deepen connection to Israel and Jewish identity

  • build confidence for the next step

  • create something meaningful you’ll want to keep

Whether aliyah is years away, happening now, or still a quiet whisper — you deserve support.

Who I Work With

  • Families considering aliyah

  • Parents navigating their children’s emotional adjustment

  • Teens who feel in-between worlds

  • Jewish families reconnecting to identity and meaning

  • Anyone who wants a creative emotional roadmap for change

If You’re Here…

You’re probably dreaming, wondering, preparing, or trying to help someone you love through a big transition. You’re in the right place.

I’d be honored to help you make the journey softer and more grounded — one image, one conversation, one step at a time.
