This journal is for anyone processing their relationship with Israel — whether you're considering Aliyah, have already made the move and want to reconnect with that decision, are a parent helping your family navigate the transition, or simply want a guided, structured way to explore what home means to you.
There is something in every Jewish heart that recognizes Israel before it has ever been there. A pull that doesn't always have words. A longing that surfaces at unexpected moments: holidays, Yom Ha'atzmaut, the first time you stood at the Kotel, or wandered the streets of Tel Aviv.
The Israel Dream Journal gives that feeling a place to land.
48 pages of original art, Jewish text, and guided prompts designed to help you explore what visiting Israel or making Aliyah mean to you, through writing, imagery, and reflection. Whether you are planning Aliyah, dreaming about it, or simply want to go deeper into what it means to be a Jew with a homeland, this journal meets you exactly where you are.
Work through it alone, with a partner, with a friend, or as a family. Print a copy for every member of your household. Add your own photos from trips, family albums, and personal memories. Cut, collage, write, and layer your own life into the pages. By the end, you'll have something entirely yours, a personal Dream Map worth framing.

A Note from Israel Dream Lab: I designed every page of this journal, with one question in mind: what does someone need to see, read, and meditate on, in order to be inspired like the Israelites of old, referenced in Tehilim 124: "When the LORD restored the captives of Zion, we were like dreamers".
I designed this journal with that feeling in mind, the one that lives in every Jewish heart, waiting for a place to land.
I hope your heart is inspired and your ancient longing may spill out from your heart onto these pages.

I’ve been following aliyah resources for a while. Using this kit, which is like a journal for the whole family to use, was the first time we thought about preparing emotionally for aliyah, and talked about our feelings, what we will miss and what we look forward to.
The Israel Dream Map gave our family a way to talk about Aliyah without turning every conversation into an argument. We all shared things we hadn’t said out loud before.
We haven’t made Aliyah yet, but Aliyah dream kit has become our favorite thing to do while we’re planning. We try to complete 1-2 pages every couple of weeks together.
The creative approach is what drew us in. The journaling prompts and activities gave our kids a voice in the process instead of making them feel like passengers. We are hoping for v.2 now that we've finished the first.
About the Journal
I'm not sure I'm ever going to make aliyah. Is this still for me?
Absolutely. You don't need to have made a decision. In fact, this journal was designed for people who are somewhere in the middle. The Israel Dream Journal helps you express your connection to Israel, whether or not you ever make aliyah.
What exactly do I receive when I purchase?
It depends on the format you choose. The Printed Journal is 24 full-color pages, mailed to you free, and includes a free PDF copy so you can start right away. The Digital Download is the same 24 pages as a PDF, available immediately after purchase, for you to print at home or at a print shop.
What do I need to print the digital version?
A home printer works fine for journaling and reflection. Any local print shop can also print it for you on quality paper. If you'd rather not print at all, choose the Printed Journal.
Do I have to complete every page?
Not at all. The journal is yours to use in whatever way feels right. Work through it as a guided workbook, responding to the prompts in your own handwriting. Let a single page stop you in its tracks, read it, sit with it, and hang it on your wall exactly as it is. Or go further and make it entirely your own. Every page is a work of art designed to stand alone or become part of something bigger. There's no right way to use it, and no wrong place to start.
Is this therapy?
It's not therapy, and it doesn't replace it. It's a structured creative and reflective tool developed by an educational counselor, trained in expressive methods. Think of it as a meaningful, guided experience you do at your own pace.
What is your refund policy?
Because the digital download is a file, we aren't able to offer refunds once it has been accessed. If your printed journal arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and we'll make it right. If you have any questions before purchasing, please reach out. We're happy to help you decide if it's right for you.
Using it as a Family
What ages is this suitable for?
The Israel Dream Journal is written for teens and adults, and it works beautifully as a family activity. Teenagers and adults can work through the reflection prompts on their own. Younger children can join in with a parent, by choosing images, sharing what they feel, and being part of the conversation. The result is worth displaying in the dining room, a bedroom, or anywhere the family gathers. A version designed especially for younger children is in the works.
Can I do this with my family or partner, or is it a solo experience?
Both. Many people find it powerful to do individually first and then share the result. It also works beautifully as a family activity, especially for having conversations with friends and family members who might find direct discussion about aliyah difficult.
My partner isn't a fan of crafts. Can we still use this together?
Absolutely. The Israel Dream Journal is first and foremost a reflective and conversational experience. The creative elements are entirely optional. Many couples use it simply by sitting together, moving through the images and prompts, and talking about what comes up. No scissors, no glue, no artistic ability required. In fact, some of the most powerful moments happen when two people look at the same image and realize they feel completely differently about it. That's exactly the kind of conversation this journal is designed to open.
We're not planning aliyah. Can this still be meaningful for our family?
Absolutely. The Israel Dream Journal is a beautiful way to deepen your family's connection to Israel at any age and stage. Many families use it to prepare children and teenagers for a first trip to Israel, helping them arrive with intention, curiosity, and a personal sense of what Israel means to them. It works for anyone who loves Israel and wants to explore that connection more deeply. It is recommended to revisit the dream map after the trip, as a way of processing the experience and expanding it.
Gifting
Can I gift this to someone?
The Israel Dream Journal makes a beautiful and meaningful gift, for Hanukkah, a birthday, a bar or bat mitzvah, an anniversary or aliyah anniversary, Mother's or Father's Day, or simply because you thought of someone. It's a gift that says I see your connection to Israel, and I want to honor it.
Gift it to a friend who's been talking about aliyah for years, a parent who raised you with a love of Israel, a grandchild or teen preparing for a first trip, or someone who just made aliyah and needs to remember why they came.
To send the printed journal as a gift, enter your recipient's address at checkout and write your message in the “Order special instructions” box in your cart. We'll pass your message along with the order. Shipping is free.
Giving the digital download? You'll receive the file by email, ready to forward with your own message. Or contact us and we'll help you make it personal.
